Join others for a time of remembrance of those lost to suicide.  Funds raised will be used to work towards the prevention of suicide by supporting local programs and TBS Support Groups including our newest support group, TBS4Teens, for those aged 13 to 17.

Come one, come all -- as we walk in memory of lives lost and in support of efforts to help those struggling with mental illness including depression and other suicidal tendencies.

This year's event will include new interactive events, several exhibit tables, and our traditional balloon release and other activities.

My memories are keepsakes
From which I'll never part
God has you in his keeping,
I have you in my heart.

Although your presence is gone
And you cannot be touched
I thank God for the memories,
They will always mean so much.

November 22, 2014

Event sponsored by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).

When I am gone, release me, let me go.
I have so many things to see and do,
You mustn't tie yourself to me with too many tears,
But be thankful we had so many good years.

I gave you my love, and you can only guess
How much you've given me in happiness.
I thank you for the love that you have shown,
But now it is time I traveled alone.

So grieve for me for a while, if grieve you must
Then let your grief be comforted by trust
That it is only for a while that we must part,
So treasure the memories within your heart.

I won't be far away for life goes on.
And if you need me, call and I will come.

Though you can't see or touch me, I will be near
And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear
All my love around you soft and clear
And then, when you come this way alone,
I'll greet you with a smile and a "Welcome Home".
